2014 Houses Awards shortlist and tickets released soon

Projects shortlisted in the 2014 Houses Awards will be announced on Friday 2 May, and tickets will also be on sale for the awards presentation, to be held at Sydney’s Doltone House, Hyde Park on Friday 1 August. Now in their fourth year, the Houses Awards are among the country’s most sought after accolades for residential architecture.

Projects are awarded in eight categories, and the best house receives the premier award of Australian House of the Year. On the 2014 jury are Brian Donovan (BVN Donovan Hill), Maggie Edmond (Edmond and Corrigan), William Smart (Smart Design Studio), Emma Williamson (CODA), and Katelin Butler (editor of Houses magazine).

The Houses Awards are presented by Architecture Media.
