Visitors to the new Austral Bricks Design Centre at 105 Gardner Road, Rochedale, Queensland will be captivated by its openness and clever use of colour and contrast. The new display also incorporates other building elements such as glass, mirrors, stainless steel and timber to create the right environment for product selection.
“The innovative display features different styles of brickwork to demonstrate what wonderful products bricks can be in the hands of a craftsman. We have categorized the products on display into four themes to suit a variety of design tastes,” said Renata Steenland, marketing assistant at Austral Bricks.
Austral Bricks’ consultants will advise on how to increase the amount of bricks in the home to maximize thermal mass. The thermal mass benefits of brick are now being highlighted as a major component in reducing energy usage in heating and cooling for sustainable housing in Australia.
