Entries now open for 2010 interior design awards

The Australian Interior Design Awards recognize and celebrate interior design excellence via a credible, industry-based program, which is backed by the Design Institute of Australia.

Entry submissions will be accepted from Monday 16 November 2009 until Friday 12 February 2010. The short list will be published online by close of business on Tuesday 9 March and entrants will also receive email notification. Awards and commendations will be presented during the awards announcement dinner on Friday 23 April 2010 at the Sydney Town Hall. A full report will be published in Artichoke magazine and online at the gallery by close of business on Tuesday 27 April.

The judging process is anonymous, transparent and confidential. Jurors are eminent designers working with a convenor appointed by the Design Institute of Australia. Entrants and their projects receive considerable media recognition via a range of newspapers, magazines and websites. All short listed, commended and awarded projects are permanent additions to the online awards gallery.

Any Australia-based design professional may enter. Projects may be located anywhere in the world. The Australian Interior Design Awards is a partnership event of the Design Institute of Australia, DesignEx and Artichoke magazine.
