Hunter Douglas Commercial recently fitted Towers 1 and 2 at Barangaroo South with its Screen Nature Ultimetal (SNU) fabric to meet some of the unique challenges facing the buildings. The fabric was chosen for its ability to allow direct sunlight into the floor spaces and allow for views of the harbourside location, while also minimizing solar glare and maximizing the building’s overall energy efficiency.
SNU has an ultra-fine layer of aluminum on one side, which dramatically improves solar energy control. This, in combination with the low levels of light transmittance to maximize glare control makes the product stand out.
