Somfy’s latest commercial project, 200 George Street, can be toured as part of the 2016 Green Cities sustainability conference in Sydney.
Best known for its striking facade, 200 George Street was designed by architecture firm Francis-Jones Morehen Thorp. It is the first building in the southern hemisphere to use a closed cavity facade. It uses Somfy solutions to provide built-in solar shading, with sun-tracking and shadow management via integrated web-based controls for a warm and inviting interior.
The tours, sponsored by Mirvac, are a unique opportunity and can be booked through the Green Cities website.
