Inspired by hard and textured architectural surfaces, design studio Doshi Levien has created a collection of four distinct curtain textiles for Kvadrat – Lake, Utopia, Rocket and Fiction.
Lake has a brushed aluminium-like quality and the jacquard-woven Utopia features graphic, diagonal lines in varying dimensions. These densely-woven textiles complement each other well with palettes comprising dusty natural tones, dark masculine hues and nuanced highlights.
Rocket and Fiction are knitted Trevira CS curtains that take a novel approach to interior textiles. Rocket has a strong futuristic expression and features a chainmail-like pattern of oval spaces, while the double-knitted Fiction’s light front and dark backside create a three-dimensional effect. kvadrat.dk
