Landscape Australia Conference – join the conversation

The dynamic role of landscape in the design, planning and management of gardens, cities and regions will be explored at the 2017 Landscape Australia Conference. To be held in Sydney on 6 May, the conference will present inspiring keynote presentations and lively panel discussions. Through three distinct sessions – focusing on the private garden, city-scale urbanism and territories – the one-day conference will offer broad appeal to landscape architects, urban designers, architects and planners alike.

Conference speakers include Alexis Sanal of SANALarc (Turkey), Thomas Woltz of Nelson Byrd Woltz Landscape Architects (USA), Sylvia Karres of Karres + Brands (Netherlands), Andy Hamilton of Andy Hamilton Studio (New Zealand), Bill Gammage of Australian National University (Australia), Frances Wylde of the University of Adelaide, and Claire Martin of Oculus (Australia), among others.

Part of an event-packed week in Sydney, the Landscape Australia Conference is co-located with two events – the Australian Institute of Architects’ National Architecture Conference: Praxis and the Planning Institute of Australia’s National Congress: Growing Up, Growing Out. Conference delegates will join Australia’s built environment community for an immersive city-wide experience. landscapeaustralia.com/conference
