Dulux envirO2’s Red List Free certification

Dulux has been granted Declare Red List Free certification across its envirO2 range. Issued by the International Living Future Institute, Declare is a transparency label that screens product ingredients against the Living Building Challenge (LBC) Red List to help specifiers find sustainable and health-risk-free products.

The LBC Red List contains the “worst in class” materials, chemicals and elements prevalent in the building industry – ones that are known to pose serious risks to human health and greater ecosystems.

“Buildings made from non-toxic products are healthier to occupy, and when they do eventually end up in landfill, they won’t poison the soil, waterways and food chains,” says Dulux product manager Judy Liao. “The new Dulux envirO2 certification will serve architects and designers who endeavour to drive sustainability in their projects.” dulux.com.au
