Altair Iglu is a Gold Winner in the 2023 Australian Good Design Awards. The market’s first Australian-designed double glazed louvre, Iglu integrates double glazing with the excellent ventilation inherent to louvre windows.
Developed in response to changing National Construction Code energy efficiency requirements, Iglu suits extreme climates. Each blade’s two layers of 5 mm low-e toughened glass are separated by a 12 mm argon-gas-filled space.
The high-performance system has passed rigorous tests of wind and water resistance, fall prevention, manufacturing quality, fire retardancy (BAL-40) and acoustic performance.
