RailGlider inclined lift systems
RailGlider inclined lift systems by Homelift

Architects working with steep sites, where no vertical shaft is practicable, should consider the flexibility that a RailGlider inclined lift will bring to a project. Self-levelling through gradients from 15 degrees to 80 degrees, RailGlider is one of the only true self-levelling inclined lifts on the market. A rail profile can be tailored to suit most projects.

As the car follows the profile of the land, it is unobtrusive to the environment. Turning systems are available where no straight rail solution is feasible and direction changes of greater than 45 degrees are possible.

RailGlider has an excellent ride quality. The car is cable-driven, with remote machinery in a sound-proof enclosure, the car running on polyurethane wheels on a smooth steel rail and modern drive control electronics.

Single rail units have capacities to 400 kg and generous car widths, making disabled access an option. For larger projects, the dual-rail system has capacities commencing at 500 kg with custom cars available.
