The winners of Viridian’s Vision Awards 2011 were announced on Friday 15 April at the 2011 National Architecture Conference in Melbourne, celebrating and promoting the energy-efficient and innovative use of glass in Australian architecture.
The winner of the residential energy-efficient category was HATZ Architects for Paradise Drive Residence, Victoria; the winner of the residential creative use of glass category was Giles Tribe Architects and Urban Planners for Manly Residence, NSW; The winner of the commercial energy-efficient category was Allen Jack+Cottier Architects for Kerrie Murphy Building, The International Grammar School, Ultimo, NSW; and the winner of the commercial creative use of glass for interiors category was Mury Architects for Giant Steps: Markaling House, Gladesville, NSW.
Each winner received $5,000 in prize money.
