The Old Clare Hotel in Sydney is a new project designed by Tonkin Zulaikha Greer Architects that combines an Art Deco pub with the Victorian-era Carlton United Brewery Headquarters, in a transformation that is contemporary yet respects the heritage.
Bent and Curved Glass produced the illuminated glass cladding to the oval bar, which is the centrepiece of the reincarnated pub bar space. It features 112 individual pieces of curved and flat custom-graphic-laminated glass, meticulously face glazed into the recesses of the industrial-style steel structure of the bar and reception counter.
