The Act for Kids Child and Family Centre of Excellence, Townsville received national recognition at the 2015 Think Brick Awards, where it won the Kevin Borland Masonry Award for concrete masonry design. It was also awarded overall Grand Prix prize.
The project, designed by M3 Architecture, used more than 15,000 Adbri Masonry Besser Blocks and Bullnose Besser Blocks to create an incredible pattern in the facade wall. Unique angles and shadow lines are standout features of the building. adbrimasonry.com.au
