Alterm has been developing and improving its range of chemical-free termite barrier systems since 1997. Both Termortar (for brickwork and rendering) and Termpage (a cement-based paint-on termite and waterproof coating) have been tested and approved as waterproof by CSIRO for retaining walls to meet AS/NZS 2904:1995 requirements for damp-proof courses and flashings.
Using a waterproof cement-based termite-proof system completes two jobs in one application. This means savings in time and money for builders.
All Alterm products have CSIRO (TA316 and TA239) approvals. Alterm has completed 60,000 installations in Australia and is currently being applied to high-rise developments in Singapore, Brunei and the Maldives.
