To help designers and specifiers meet the requirements of the BCA quickly and easily, Bradford Insulation has launched DesignSmart, a program that simplifies regulations and provides suggestions for product specifications.
Bradford commercial segment manager Roger Pecnik says, “Not only does DesignSmart recommend insulation systems to meet the BCA requirements, it also offers solutions beyond ‘Deemed To Satisfy’ in order to offer more sustainable solutions that further reduce building running costs”.
DesignSmart tools include an HVAC calculator, an SPI calculator and an acoustic calculator, suitable for all climate zones based on a number of possible scenarios programmed into the system.
