International studies have found that food waste disposers, such as those made by InSinkErator, are an environmentally friendly way to dispose of food scraps generated in the kitchen.
Food waste comprises 75% of all household rubbish. For every kilogram of food waste that is sent to landfill, 1.5 kg of greenhouse gas is emitted.
