Italian furniture company Colombo Stile is located in an area that is considered the cradle of Italy’s wood and furniture industry. A history of master craftsmanship has seen the company’s furniture gain acclaim worldwide.
Within the demanding global furniture industry, Colombo Stile has created four different divisions: Colombo Stile, featuring works from international designers; the project division, specializing in custom-made pieces; Elit’s, for contemporary furniture design; and SandraRossi focused on tradition and history.
Shown here is a SandraRossi crescent-shaped Sheraton writing desk, with three regular drawers and eight small drawers. It is constructed from ash briar, with a shellac finish. Coated gold leaf decorations and ebony-coloured inserts complete the look, along with bronze inserts and a leather top with golden fire engravings. It is teamed with a small Empire-style armchair featuring solid wooden sculptures. The chair is finished in a cherry-coloured polish.
