Element ceiling fan by Big Ass Fans

The Noosa Pengari Steiner School, located in Queensland and built to house a variety of activities, is an excellent example of sustainable design in an educational context.

Sustainably sourced timbers were used for the wood flooring, mobile stained glass doors open to create spill-out space for large crowds, and natural ventilation is supplemented by a 3.7 m diameter Element ceiling fan from Big Ass Fans. Element is powered by a gearless motor that eliminates mechanical noise and on-board controls prevent electrical interference.

The fan provides reliable cooling during peak periods without compromising on the acoustics of the hall, all while blending with overall aesthetics.
