Alpaca fleece is one of the world’s rare exotic fibres. It is silky soft to touch yet extremely strong and durable. Although mostly considered as a clothing fibre, it has an excellent inherent fire-rating and thermal and acoustic properties. Alpaca demonstrates higher abrasion resistance than wool whilst feeling smoother and softer, making it an excellent fibre for floorcoverings.
