Cultured stone by Boral

An established brand in the US for almost 50 years, Cultured Stone cladding has genuine heritage appeal and is gaining popularity in Australian home design for its similarity to natural stone without the weight and price tag.

Boral Cultured Stone cladding is light in weight and cleverly engineered to look like the real thing. Pieces are cast in flexible moulds and meticulously hand coloured with oxides to achieve the look of natural stone. Cultured Stone has up to 54% minimum recycled content and in most applications requires no additional sealing, painting or coating after installation.

The owners of this home in Melbourne’s north-east selected Cultured Stone in a blend of Dressed Fieldstone in Aspen and Chardonnay, as the colour and texture suited the semi-rural setting of Warrandyte. “The Cultured Stone feature blended well within the home design and achieved the natural stone effect we were after,” the owners said.
