Mountain Ash timber has a moderately coarse texture and a generally straight grain. The features of Mountain Ash timber include Light Organic Solvent Preservation (LOSP) timber treatment, which is non-corrosive and provides protection from termites and fungal decay; low Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs); PEFC/Chain of Custody; and no use of unethical logging practices.
