Tickets are now on sale for the presentation of the 2014 Australian Interior Design Awards, a partnership event of Artichoke magazine, the Design Institute of Australia and Designex. The awards will be presented during a gala dinner on Friday 16 May at The Ballroom, Hilton Sydney, with more than 500 of the industry’s top designers and their clients set to attend.
The Australian Interior Design Awards recognize and celebrate interior design excellence in Retail Design, Hospitality Design, Workplace Design, Public Design, Installation Design, Residential Design and Residential Decoration. This year, 430 entries were received into the Australian Interior Design Awards, with record-breaking entry numbers in the Workplace and Hospitality categories.
On the 2014 jury are: Susanna Bilardo, director, Enoki (SA); Matthew Blain, principal, Hassell (NSW); Hamish Guthrie, director, Hecker Guthrie (Vic); Victoria Judge, associate, Smart Design Studio (NSW); Paul Kelly, director, Paul Kelly Design (NSW); Geraldine Maher, principal, Jackson Architecture (Vic); Ryan Russell, director, Russell & George (Vic); and Christina Waterson, principal, Christina Waterson Studio (Qld).
