Everbright E610 Clear incorporating Nanogel thermal gel was used recently at Brooke Street Pier, Hobart. Project architect: Circa Morris-Nunn Architects. Project builder: Fairbrother.

Everbright illuminates the Hobart waterfront

Everbright E610 was the main material used to construct the Brooke Street Pier – a three-storey floating superstructure that recently took up its new home at Hobart’s waterfront.

The Everbright project area covers 2,332 m2 of walls and roofs. The Everbright translucent cladding on the upper building helps to create a conservatory-like space by forming a passively heated indoor environment and making the building glow at night. The floating pier, a major tourist attraction, will house three restaurants and tourist shops, and will be used as a ferry terminal by the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA).

The client was looking for a product that has a long life span and is self-cleaning, and has superior panel strength, thermal/acoustic performance and fire performance characteristics. Everbright E610 is manufactured in Australia. everbrightroofing.com.au
