IMPORTANT: Please note that the 2020 Australian Interior Design Awards will now be announced at an online event on Friday 29 May. The usual gala dinner attended by hundreds of built environment professionals, architects and designers has been cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions.
The shortlist for the awards, which are given in categories including Retail Design, Hospitality Design, Workplace Design, Public Design, Installation Design, Residential Design and Residential Decoration, will be revealed on 25 March. The best projects in each category are also considered for the Award for Sustainability Advancement, Emerging Interior Design Practice, and Best of State Awards, with the top project receiving the Premier Award for Australian Interior Design.
The awards program is presented by the Design Institute of Australia and Artichoke magazine in partnership, and is supported by Dulux, Signorino, Oblica, Sub-Zero Wolf, Laminex, Elton Group, Novas, Space and Denfair. To view the shortlist, visit australianinteriordesignawards.com.
