The 2021 Design Speaks program presents a varied and stimulating offering of conferences and seminars exploring diverse topics about architecture and design.
As the world adapts to recent challenges, parts of the program will be delivered via the interactive Design Speaks Virtual Portal, with sessions offered both live and on-demand. The new platform allows built environment professionals to pick and choose the talks that most interest them and view them at their convenience. Sessions attract formal CPD points, which architects require to maintain their registration to practice.
The portal launched in late 2020 with The Architecture Symposium: Housing Futures, which was curated by Andrew Burns and Hannah Tribe and attracted more than 550 delegates. Six conferences are proposed for 2021, including Old School / New School, Health Care / Health Design and Work Place / Work Life, complemented by a number of Our Houses and Artichoke Night School seminars.
