Sandblasted CaesarStone

To apply a cool, decorative finish, a sandblasting technique can be used on CaesarStone surfaces.

Thanks to its composition – 97% quartz plus pigments and polymers – CaesarStone is strong enough to endure the sandblasting. A fine stream of water containing abrasive powder is blasted at the material at high pressure, allowing it to either etch the surface or completely cut through.

These patterned slabs can be used as feature walls, counters and partitions in commercial or residential design. The process is highly controlled and computer operated, enabling endless applications for architects and designers.

The sandblasted surface maintains its original CaesarStone properties, including resistance to scratching, staining and heat, while simultaneously requiring little maintenance.
