An innovative one-day forum, WoodSolutions 2010 presents an inspiring new look at one of the world’s most popular materials. For environmental, aesthetic and economic reasons, contemporary designs are featuring wood in structures ranging from public to multiresidential buildings.
With a program aimed at architects, engineers and building designers, WoodSolutions 2010 speakers include Andrew Lawrence, associate at Arup London and Arup’s international timber specialist; Michael Green, principal of the awarding-winning Canadian practice McFarlane Green Biggar Architecture; and Australian architect Richard Leplastrier, an inspirational architect for sustainable design.
WoodSolutions 2010 sessions will take place in Sydney on Tuesday 7 September, in Melbourne on Thursday 9 September, and in Brisbane on Wednesday 15 September 2010.
