Bathroom brand Duravit has opened a subsidiary in Sydney, bringing its innovative and design-led ceramic sanitaryware, furniture, baths, shower trays, wellbeing systems and accessories to the Australasian market.
With ideas to suit a breadth of budgets, Duravit products have been recognized by international design awards and are produced in collaboration with leading designers such as Philippe Starck, Matteo Thun, Sieger Design, Michael Graves, Phoenix Design and the EOOS design group.
The entire portfolio is now accessible to Australian customers, including the latest launches for 2011. Embracing the idea of “plenty of design for little money,” Darling New from Sieger Design is characterized by harmonious circular forms and an exquisite rim that lends a lightness to the design.
Twenty-five ceramic models, 12 baths and 52 furniture items make Darling New Duravit’s most extensive furniture program. The range is available in six contemporary finishes: discreet matt white or terra, colourful Spring Green or Azure Blue, plus the textured wood finishes of Pine Silver or Pine Terra.
