New to the range of Latham wall protection systems is the HBR-160. This hand-rail-cum-bump-rail offers double protection, while complying with the Australian standard requirements for handrails. AS1428.1-2009 requires the handrail to be unimpeded for at least 270° of the circumference, which is achieved by this new design.
Latham also manufactures a version incorporating LED lighting, the ILHBR- 160. This handrail is designed for dormitory- and hospital-style applications, where the hand/bump rail can be used as a gentle light source throughout corridors and hallways.
