Available from Lafarge Plasterboard, MastaShield Eco and FireShield Eco are GECA-certified plasterboards suitable for Green Star or sustainable building projects. Both incorporate the benefits of conventional plasterboard systems – lightweight, recyclable and high performance – as well as the assurance of independent environmental product certification to GECA Panel Board Standard 04-2007.
For both commercial and residential applications, MastaShield Eco can be used for standard wall and ceiling systems, while FireShield Eco is suitable for areas where a fire rating and good sound insulation performance are needed. These products may be substituted into over 30 standard and 140 fire-rated and sound insulation systems published in the Lafarge Plasterboard Tech Manual.
