Brightly coloured perforated metal installed in dual panels creates a stunning introduction to this apartment building in Melbourne. Differing panel sizes and colour shades are combined to create a multi-hued facade, which shines from within its alleyway home.
The designer has incorporated a “moray effect” by installing two standard perforated panels together where the holes are slightly offset, creating the distinctive texture. A moray effect can also be achieved by installing the panels a small distance from each other; the final effect will be determined by the application.
