Chiaro screens by Di Emme

These magnificently beautiful entrance doors by Chiaro Screens herald the sophistication of Luigi Rosselli Architects’ transformation of an inter-war apartment building into an exclusive private dwelling.

The custom-designed twenty individual screens measuring 530 mm × 530 mm with 40 mm edge folds were laser cut in 1.6 mm stainless steel, electroplated in brass then chemically aged and hand finished. Precise measurement and lateral thinking saw the successful installation of the screen modules, which clad a glass door. In this application they are easily removed for cleaning.

Chiaro also created screens to encase the glass lift which travels internally up four levels.
