Designed in the 1950s by Franco Albini, the Fiorenza armchair used the most technologically advanced materials in upholstered furniture at the time. Now, sixty years on, Fiorenza is a design classic and its ergonomic sitting posture means it is still a very comfortable chair. Fiorenza is comparable to a traditional high-back armchair, but has a distinctly contemporary design.
Its structure is made from solid wood and metal, with an upholstered seat and back featuring shaped polyurethane in different densities. The armchair also features elastic strap springing and a solid beech wood frame, which is available in walnut-stained or black-lacquered varieties. The cover is available in fabric or leather.
