Everbright E610 in Ice White is used as translucent polycarbonate verandah roofing at Barrymore Road Sports Pavilion in Melbourne. The Everbright product has been used to create a modern design feature for the new development, which features a large mono-pitched roof at 3.6 metres (free-span) by 36 metres. The product can free-span up to 4.38 metres.
The design brief was to create a modern, unique-looking translucent system, with large unsupported spans that would provide an uncluttered architectural feature. The client was looking for a product that has superior spans, panel strength, long life span, superior thermal/acoustic performance, fire performance characteristics and is self cleaning. Elizabeth Bay House in Sydney, designed in the 1830s by architect John Verge, has been waterproofed using the Wolfin System from Projex Group, as part of a recent restoration.
The ground-floor bathrooms required waterproofing and the clients wanted a system that would not need to be replaced for a long time. The Wolfin System GWSK self-adhesive sheet membrane plus the IB detail strip were specified. As with all Wolfin installations, upon completion the works were inspected by Wolfin Membranes Australia, which issued a single-point labour and materials warranty.

In 1901, George Henry Taubman, a Sydney sign-writer, was dissatisfied with the quality of paints available in the Australian market, so he decided to establish his own paint business. To pay tribute to this rich history and to celebrate the launch of the new Colour Galaxy Fandeck, Taubmans is launching a new campaign named Off Canvas.
The campaign features sign painter TJ Guzzardi, who has revived the art of sign-writing from his workshop in Tullamarine, Melbourne. TJ helped to launch the campaign at the recent DEN Fair in Melbourne by creating striking signs featuring some of the latest paint colours from the new fandeck.
In addition, Stephen Baker, an artist and creative best known for his mural at the Fitzroy Pool in Melbourne, was commissioned to create a work called The Painter, which adorns a limited-edition Colour Galaxy Fandeck bag.
