DP Toscano Architects chose Locker Group’s woven wire Planar 441 to shade a Camberwell apartment building on two levels. The powdercoated aluminium wire mesh adds a sophisticated textural element to the facade.
The woven mesh shading is operable on both levels, allowing occupants to adjust the shading elements as the seasons, or their desires, change. Even when the shading is completely closed it allows unobstructed views of the external environment, and sunlight through the wire mesh casts a dappled light into the internal spaces. locker.com.au
