Plastic pollution has a direct and deadly effect on ocean wildlife. Thousands of seabirds, sea turtles and other marine animals are killed each year after ingesting plastic or getting tangled in abandoned fishing nets. Seafood is ultimately contaminated as tiny marine creatures also digest microplastics. With an average-sized commercial project using 480 kg of recovered ocean plastic, SeaTex can contribute to cleaning up the world’s oceans and assist in saving marine life.
The fabric is supplied in widths of 300 cm with a thickness of 0.45 mm. It has an openness factor of 3% and weighs only 250 grams per square metre.
