New Scyon Matrix cladding is specifically designed for residential and medium-density applications wherever an urban look is required. Matrix cladding delivers an expressed, geometric look for external walls in composite construction, upper-story and ground-floor extensions as well as for internal feature walls.
Made from Scyon, an advanced lightweight cement composite, Matrix cladding is resistant to cracking, warping and swelling and may be specified for timber-framed and steel-framed structures. Available in square and rectangular panels, the product offers a range of design choices including the option of brad nailing for minimizing visual interruption if desired.
Matrix cladding features a number of construction advantages, such as easy installation – the panels don’t require steel top-hats but can be installed using Scyon cavity trim battens. The sheets are supplied sanded smooth, preprimed and sealed on all sides for better durability and stability. They can be painted in both light and dark colours.
