The Architectural Window Systems (AWS) Magnum 618 stacking door was recently awarded the title of Australia’s Most Innovative Window System at the Australian Window Association Industry Awards. Magnum 618 is a residential, multi-panel stacking door system capable of achieving large panel heights and wide opening spans.
Configurations of up to four sliding panels in each direction can be achieved, giving openings of up to 12 metres (subject to site conditions). The system can also be configured as a stacking cavity door, with all sliding panels concealed while open. Ninety degree corner openings can also be achieved, with no corner meeting post, giving uninterrupted openings.
Stacking external flyscreens are developed specifically to suit the 618 door. Flyscreen panels are seamlessly integrated and maintain consistent sight lines for a clean architectural finish.
