Aluxor Industries has combined the compact Discus cassette awning with Sunbrella’s elegant plain and striped fabrics to provide shade on demand at the touch of a button.
This north-east facing home required a contemporary streamlined awning and fabric that would endure the harsh Australian sun. The streamlined mounting brackets ensured the awning could be installed in line with the fascia. Zinc roofing completed the housing of the awning, complementing the vivid stripes of the fabric.
Including the awning in the initial design of the home enabled the awning to read as an integrated part of the building with the fabric and powdercoat colour selection customized to coordinate with the overall design.
