Architectural Window Systems (AWS) has recently released a range of cyclone-tested aluminium window and door systems. These systems have been tested by a fully accredited third-party cyclone-testing station and have exceeded tests described in AS1170.2.
The AWS range of cyclone-tested windows and doors include sliding doors, awnings, casements and sliding windows. The systems are engineered to withstand heavy wind loads and incorporate robust components, heavy-duty frames and sashes, and StormShield impact-resistant glass. AWS cyclone-tested systems are suitable for use in cyclonic regions C and D.
