Stoddart has manufactured and installed custom-designed bus shelters at the Gungahlin Bus Interchange in Canberra. Working with civil contractor Guideline ACT, Stoddart installed a total of 92 metres of architecturally inspired shelters and walkways.
The shelters were designed to align with the existing infrastructure. The final aesthetic is eye-catching, with a striking perforated plywood timber soffit flanked by bronze powdercoated cladding and a form measuring almost four metres high and five metres in total span. The shelters incorporate lighting and CCTV installations.
