Screentex external blinds by Viva Sunscreens have been installed to control glare and thermal heat gain at the recently completed Trivette Classic’s BMW flagship dealership in Parramatta, New South Wales.
In line with architect Turner and Associates’ environmentally sustainable design (ESD) objectives, Viva Sunscreens supplied and installed automated Screentex blinds for the west-facing, 10-metre-high glazed facade.
The Screentex external blind system successfully reduces UV rays entering the building without impeding the view. The blinds reduce airconditioning and heating requirements, ensuring a significant reduction in overall carbon dioxide emissions.
