Recently the Rozelle Out Of School Hours child care facility had a problem with the sun beating into its refurbished top-floor area used by pre‑school children. The heat was expected to become a major problem in the summer months, so the team contacted Issey Sun Shade Systems in Lilyfield, New South Wales.
Issey made use of popular Sunworker 1.5 metre-wide internal/external blind material manufactured by Dickson in France. Dickson’s Sunworker fabrics are specifically designed to help block the sun’s harmful rays and this, along with its fire-retardant qualities, was a significant reason for its selection. The extensive colour range was an added bonus for the school.
