CCAA Public Domain Awards 2011

Entries close soon for the 2011 Public Domain Awards, recognizing innovative and exciting applications of concrete in the public arena.

The awards are presented by Cement Concrete and Aggregates Australia (CCAA) and cover seven categories – Streets, Paths, Precincts, Walls, Bridges, Public Artworks and Sustainable Design. The best project from across these categories is named overall winner. Awards are also presented for the best projects from each state.

Over the past 15 years the biennial awards have evolved into Australia’s pre-eminent awards for urban landscape design and construction in the public domain. In 2009 the national award went to Aspect Studios for Pirrama Park in Sydney, a stunning harbourside parkland created on the former water police site at Pyrmont.

Entries for the 2011 CCAA Public Domain Awards close on 31 March 2011. Go to www.ccaa.com.au/publicdomain/entry.php for more information.
