Designed by Philippe Starck and produced by Pramac in Italy, the Revolutionair 1 kW micro wind turbines has been launched by Rewind Energy. The turbines are suitable for many applications including residential projects, corporate headquarters, apartment blocks, hotels and parks.
They are appealing to the eye and effectively cut down energy costs and reduce impact on the environment. The Revolutionair 1 kW wind turbine is a quiet vertical axis wind turbine (VAWT), as opposed to traditional horizontal type wind turbines. The key advantages of VAWTs is that they are quiet and more suitable for areas with turbulent winds, such as city areas.
