Amiran non-reflective glass by Schott

Schott Amiran is an optical interference non-reflective glass, dip-coated on both sides, with a residual reflection of approximately 1% (conventional glass is 8%).

Reflections can be extremely distracting in many situations, ruining the view from a dinner setting in a restaurant or at home, or making choosing a car, outfit or piece of jewellery in a shop front or showcase nearly impossible. Reflections can even destroy the snapshot of an animal behind the piece of glass in a zoo. They can become a safety issue in marine areas, airport towers and train stations.

In order to avoid these negative effects, more and more specifiers are turning to Amiran, the nearly invisible glass from Schott.

Amiran is available toughened, laminated or curved in Australia.
