Texo is a revolutionary new pre-stressed textile panel system. The patented panel system comprises of an extruded aluminium frame and silicon elastomer that can be used with a wide variety of textiles to form flat prestressed,
lightweight textile panels. Applications include cladding and facades, retrofitting and re-imaging older buildings, building sunscreens, signage, graphics and branding, internal partitioning, ceiling panels and more.
Texo allows designers to work with textiles in a flat form, and removes the need for complicated and heavy structural framing, tensioning and fixing systems. The use of Texo as a secondary facade or sunscreens can offer significant energy savings in the form of reduced heating and cooling costs.
Architectural Textile Systems has teamed up with Tensoforma, Texo’s Italian developers, to supply Texo to the Australian and New Zealand architectural markets. Tensoforma is an internationally recognized European fabric structures company that has tried and tested Texo throughout Europe over the last six years.
