Using its experience with similar lightweight facade installations, Locker Group worked closely with the project’s design leaders to develop a new expanded mesh and fixing cables for a new research and development facility in Melbourne’s south-east.
Providing both a textural element and sun-shading properties, the veil of expanded mesh envelops the building to protect it from the sun without inhibiting the view from within. At night the facade is backlit by LED lights at each level, creating a bright, high-tech visual effect. locker.com.au
