Saniflo is a French manufacturer of grey water and macerator pumps with Australian Watermark approval. When refurbishing an existing building, conventional plumbing is not always an option or can be too expensive.
A Saniflo pump is ideal when there are no drainage line options nearby as these pumps can be used to pump grey water or sewerage waste to the existing sewer line over long distances or heights.
In a recent case, a building owner wanted to convert a commercial space into an early learning centre with all the amenities. The only way to access drainage was to cut through the post-tension concrete slabs, so the owner looked for an alternative solution. He then found that the Saniaccess 2 macerator pump and the Sanispeed grey water pump would do the job.
The Saniflo Saniaccess 2 macerator has two inlets: one for a toilet and another for grey waste water. It has access panels on top for ease of serviceability and maintenance, and it can pump waste water up to five metres vertically or 100 metres horizontally. One Saniaccess 2 was used for each of the toilet basin combinations at this site.
