The Town and Park hot plate has been created with three-layered insulation to assist with quicker heat-up times and better cooking efficiencies.

Town and Park barbecue hot plate by Stoddart

After rigorous research and development, a new barbecue hot plate has been added to the Stoddart Town and Park portfolio. The 3 mm thick plate provides a higher thermal mass, enabling better retention of heat on the cooking surface as well as maintaining a quicker recovery time. Additionally, the plate has an aluminium backing that contributes to a more even dispersion of heat across the cooking surface.

Rather than angle toward a central drain hole, the hot plate exhibits a gentle slope toward the rear, where the welded sides control the flow of oil to an ideally located drain hole. This enables more efficient cooking and cleaning, as well as inducing an automatic cleaning of grease from the plate.

The option is also available for the hot plate to be supplied pre-fitted into Stoddart’s custom DDA-compliant frame, constructed for those in wheelchairs who can use the cantilevered design to position themselves closer to the hotplate. Along with the Town and Park wheelchair-accessible table settings and drink fountains, the new barbecue makes a great addition to any outdoor space. stoddart.com.au
